CORA QU’AMORS VUELHA
(366.8)
MW, II, 7; Choix, III, 268; Bartsch, Lesebuch, p. 69; Bartsch, Chrest. col. 139.
Cstands alone against DaIKNRa in 5, 7, 31, 35, 47 but this division is not found consistently. CNa form a sub-group in 34, and CRa in 63. IK stand alone in 28 (one syllable short) and in their reversal of vv. 3 and 4; a stands alone in 4, 8, 19, 68, and R in 8, 51, in both of which lines R has one extra syllable. There is considerable confusion in Da in the last three lines of v. 2.
Six coblas singulars, with one tornada of four lines: 5a’ 2b 5a’ 5b 5a’ 2b 5a’ 5b 3c 4c 6b 7b. Peirol uses the same scheme in XXV but with a different number of syllables; these are the only two examples of this scheme. a changes in every stanza, b in alternate stanzas, c remains constant throughout; cf. V. Maus 224.
