The MSS. fall naturally into two main groups as a glance at the stanza order will show. Stanza 5 is found only in Ta, which lack the two tornadas. ACDaIKNR lack stanza 5 but have two tornadas. A further division of the main groups is difficult; the MSS. are in substantial agreement with the exception of R (7, 8, 19, 25, 36), although groupings may be noted in l. 26 (sen CNTa; gen ADa, IKR) and in l. 38 (m’amiga doussa AIK; ma dous’ amiga DaDcNa; bel amia R; bela domna T).
