Of these three MSS., CR are nearly always in complete agreement. V, on the other hand, has many individual readings (cf. 7, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 23, 24, 28, and the confusion of ll. 35-6), and has, moreover, five verses against the four of CR. Owing to the lacuna in these latter MSS. and to the numerous variants and grammatical errors found in V, it appears necessary to construct, as Kolsen has done, a composite text from the three MSS.
